F.E.A.R. Combat is the complete multiplayer component of F.E.A.R. in one downloadable file. After installing F.E.A.R. Combat, simply go to http://www.joinfear.com and register to obtain a free Combat keycode.

I got the download from filefront, but you still need to register with the site for a cd-key.

I got it the other day, but have yet to install it. Has anyone played it? Is it any good? I have heard it will really tax your system.

I'll set up a server for this if anyone is interested.

Well, its one of the latest FPS out there, and FEAR is fricken beautiful. So ya, it will tax your system, and if you don't have a decent vid card or memory...may be screwed.

I will give it a swing, Toxic. But, I am going on vacation tomorrow, so I won't set it up til next week. It can't be any worse than playing with that new mod. Wow, did I feel retarded in that! lol...

I have a XFX 6600 256M DDR2 E-pci16 card. Probably means I have to play it on the lowest settings...

I have a 9500 pro, you should be able to manage it.

I remember trying multiplayer with Trigga a while a go. Good fun. Pace was faster than expected. Not UT tho. ;)

Well, I played it for about 20 mins tonight.. Much different.. Very "realistic"... pretty...

However, it is hard to tell who is on your team and who is not.. lol..

This is a very impressive multiplayer game, especially being free. I may be on there from time to time, my name will be DW>Namu. Not as pretty as the single player game, and it is a little chaotic, but still fun.
