Wow that really is a beast ! Bet its going to cost a pretty penny too.

You wouldnt have any server side issues with lag etc with that toxic.

Actually, I would be interested in what one of those new mac pros (or Xserves) could do as a server. Dual Woodcrests... And you can buy them today. They are suppossed to be smoking...

From what I understand those Kentsfields are two 6700 chips on a single die. It should replace the 6800 which is going for about 1000-1100 right now.

I am registered for it now... However, it is a bit of an over kill... ;)

That monitor is a couple of grand. That proc is a grand. Plus, the company that makes those pcs are slightly expensive (they are a competitor to alienware).

I would be happy with at 6300 OC'd with 2G of RAM.

Hell sell the damn monitor and get a projecter for the wall! Make those sniper kills just that much sweeter! LOL

I have tried running it on my projector. I much prefer my 19" LCD monitor. I think that the chair and desk are more suited to FPS play. Whereas my couch does pretty well for the GameCube and PS2.
