ONS-Digital

-- Ok guys , what is it that you didn't like about Digital , as it was? Was it the way it it looks , the weapons , the vehicles , the nodes ?? .. The few times I played it seemed to me like a nice map , playable and with just a few tweeks might be nice for 32 , I say --

Urtho already said something about the middle node on top of one the square structures , wich I already brought down to the floor level , so what else ? .. All I can think of is the eye thing .. I changed the textures , no big deal , Its istill somehow 'digital' and I got my eye now on the wepon lockers , we could make this another nice small spammy map with alot of more nice weapons in some nodes on wich the ones there actually suck so ... If anyone got a coment on this one will be highly appreciated - post up please .-- This map was taken out of ratation and with some work i'd like to see it back in as one spam-like fun map for 32 peeps -

- Do you like this more than the old textures you all met when playing it? - Maybe you want it full of tanks ?? ... Or do you all think is just a stupid map and should left alone and burn in hell

Digital needed expansion, a few more geometric objects wouldn't hurt. Imo every map we play on should have dual primaries, including this map in particular since its so tank friendly. Weapon lockers needed to be beefed up or even placed in some nodes. Another annoyance was getting stuck to the meshes.

All I can say is I liked the way it looked as it was, since I've only played it once and I spent the entire time in a tank. I'd say if hte middle node was on top of a cube, with a ramp leading up/teleporting pad, it wouldn't be too bad.

This map looks like it needs some z-axis: some small trenches and elevated walkways, raised/lowered nodes, multiple paths onto/off the huge blocks, pathways via the blocks...

Right now this map looks like a tanker's dream. Even Minus has enough elevation differences to exploit that it's feasible to take down a tank on foot if you catch it in the right places. There's a serious lack of "connection" between the various elements in the map as well...

This map is such a blank slate you might as well do whatever you want to it.
