How to play better?

HI i got a couple of questions in order how to improve my gameplay.
Here is first a list of thing that am getting in the next couple of weeks.
0. Upgrading my internet speed from 320k to 640k
1. A decent mouse Logitech G5 it should be here before Friday
2. Decent KB not sure if the G11, G15 or Saitek
Now the dilemma is the processor am currently running a D805 @ 3.10 @ 155 FSB with a EVGA 7900GT in a raid 0 configuration in a Asrock with a PT880 Via Chipset. Believe me or not this run even faster than my old P4 3.4 550 with an ASUS PP5AD2 Premium with the same video card.
But am not sure if the E6300 worth the effort with the same budget Asrock mobo. Because am going to buy an new mobo for a while.
Any other idea? or I should just practice more and save $$

Not so sure about that hardware stuff, but I've seen you on the servers and your a pretty good player. Fighting with other players on this server is a great why to work on skills and such. (Put it this way when I see you in my sight, I really focus because I know that your pretty good and theres a good chance that I may be killed by you :blackeye:)
BTW Welcome to the Forums

My opinion is to practice more and save money. If you plan on getting UT 2007 whenever it comes out, then beef up your system after it comes out. If you can run most of the maps of UT 2004 decently, don't worry about it.
G5 is a good mouse. Takes some getting used to and adjusting to fit your needs. Do you have a decent mouse pad? I highly suggest the func Archetype 1030. Supreme for the G5 in my opinion. If you already have a good mouse pad, try it out with your G5 first. I have a Saitek keyboard myself and I enjoy it.
To improve your game the most..... PRACTICE!

read the tam tips thread, that should give you some knowledge. Other then that a decent mouse pad and mouse wont hurt. Connection is more a matter of latency then bandwidth.

The problem with buying "better" or "gamer oriented" hardware is that if you still suck a month after you get it...you can no longer blame your pc for sucking :P. :blackeye:

First of all, welcome to the forum.
Reading the tam thread is a very good idea.
But the best thing to do is practice, don’t spent any money yet, wait until we’ve got UT07. Plus this gives you the option to blame your lame computer, like I do. Remember that the secret for success is blaming others for your mistakes, :evil4: in this case your PC, Lag, latency or whatever…it makes you feel better. No wonder they call me Da Weasel.
And by the way, Dieplease is from Panama too, so we’ve got another SVA from Panama…yoohoo and there will be more, man this is contagious... :cyclopsani:

Toxic: Have you ever been on vacation in Panama?
Umm.. really the way to get better is to play. It comes how it comes, roll with it, AND ENABLE DODGING! You may not like it, but it grows on you. Ask my dad. I played with dodging on and he would turn it off. Eventually, he played with it so much that when he turned it off once he turned it right back on a little later. Also, jump, and when aiming with flak or rockets aim for the ground/their feet and let the splash do the damage.
Also, a mouse that can adjust the sensitivity by the press of a button, above the wheel for more sensitivity, and below for less, is great. When sniping you just press the less sensitivity button, it gives more accuracy to the shot cuz you tend to not over-shoot.
*hands Toxic 2cents* There's my 2cents for my ideas.
