I know us "girls" live on the far southern tip of Tornado Alley. But it seems that the Northern part will be effected.

Please everyone be safe! Tornados are scary and very dangerous.

Having sat huddled in a basement with what turned out to be a forming tornado overhead.....I know exactly what you mean, Bomzin!

Everyone!! I know it sounds hokey...but be prepared!! Flashlights...batteries....battery operated weather radio....pets stowed safely....a little food and water...and be sure to let someone know where you are!!

My thoughts are with you as well....hope you weather the storms!!

Well, it was not horrible...

The plane ride from DC to Atlanta was about as bumpy as can be. The pilot ended up aborting an approach due to "air traffic controller" issues. He got an applause when we hit the ground.

ATL to KC was nice, except it was so delayed I did not get home till 3.
