From playing you can sometimes see the silhouettes sites down but when you bring up sites the bush will thicken if that makes any sense. Oh! One other thing that springs to mind -- CPU affinity. Since you are on a Dual Core you may want to change the affinity for the black ops program. You can get to the affinity via the taskmgr (after you have started black ops) by right clicking on the black ops exe program. Try changing it from no...

Also, try running memtest86+ with and without that 1GB stick in there. It worries me that it's only 333MHz and only 1GB. You may find that your memory throughput stats (Memory MB/s) in memtest86+ show a major difference without that in there. Unless you absolutely *must* have the extra gig I'd sugge...

Also, make sure r_multigpu is set to 0
though, if you've already discovered the 'multithreaded' setting you probably have already done this.

You may want to post your config_mp.cfg (suitably sanitized) so we take a gander.

BTW, what's your CPU/motherboard/Windows setup?
