Being able to just disconnect and rejoin after dieing isn't what was intended and I hope will be dealt with but their are more important things to deal with at this point. Their is another great feature to be added into 2.5 but before I go into what it is, i would like to sadly admit that I always found Blender Game Engine to be a bit... Poopy.
