Sounds like a google issue.

I load the site via a bookmark, which works fine, and as you noted it loads fine when using the address field.

I would extract the entire cache and deal with any future file mismatches as they come.

Or if your cache is really full/cluttered, I'd delete it, connect to the server and re-download all the files, then extract the whole cache.

I've had this issue before, and though I am not %100 sure I believe it is/was due to a file mismatch issue. Try Ant's suggestion of deleting the map from your cache and/or map folder and re-downloading it.
