Tombstone Epitaphs '10

It's that time of year again.

In celebration of the Halloween season, DW will be creating tombstones for individuals that requests to make their mark on Monster Mash. As you may see in DM-HoldtheCrypt, you may find the old tombstones. If you want to be part of this collection, then post a reply in this thread, stating your epitaph (the words on your grave).

Also, now that we have some new tombstones created by Wail, you may request a specific headstone. If you feel ambitious, then feel free to extract WOSGraves.usx from your cache, and check out the headstones in the editor. You may choose any set of headstones (bottom piece A with top piece C). Also you may request specific textures:

• Ancient Mossy stone look (greenish organic stone)
• Ancient Mossy stone look (greenish organic stone) Shiny
• Stone (gray)
• Stone (gray) Shiny
• Dirt (tanish brown)
• Gold
• Gold shiny
• Marble (white)
• Marble shiny

Don't forget to be specific when choosing your textures. For example, if you want the headstone with the cross on top. State that you want the plate (the square box in front where the text goes) to be texture A shiny, and the headstone, itself to be texture B not shiny.

If you want to go even further, you may specify details in shaders. If you want a material sequence (like a slideshow of text), then let us know.

You also have the choice to determine the font size, colour, alignment, font style, or whatever...

In the end, if you can't makeup your mind, or don't feel like going through the trouble of picking your headstone(s) or texture(s), then we'll just pick one for you. Minimum requirements is that you need to reply stating your epitaph.

Same as last year, we got some rules:

• No profanity
• No more than two tombstones per person (you are welcomed to write a tombstone for a friend of yours)
• No attacks towards another person without their permission. (Don't say something like, "Here lies so and so because of this person's clumsy acts of team killing) You need to get their permission first before saying something like that.
• No late submissions (deadline is October 17. 11:00 pm EST)

We'll be copying and pasting your text so if you include a spelling mistake, that will be included in your headstone so please double check your grammar.

We'll be burying everyone in Absolute Hell Halloween version. If you wish to be buried at a specific place, be sure to let us know. Other unannounced Halloween maps may be included. It depends of the author's will to make a Halloween version of their own map(s).
