Since the beginning of time.. or at least the server, The mp5 ammo pickups are bugged.
It says you picket up some grenades and bullets, but they do not add to your ammo.
I'm sure the masterminds of DW know about it, however, can someone explain me why it won't work, and if it ever gets fixed?

I believe it is because the mp5 is a replacement for the assault rifle, yet no replacement for assault rifle ammo was ever created.

and since the assault rifle only gets grenade packs and no normal ammo the mp5 doesn't either

What is this weird piece of alien technology? It makes my awesome mp5 ammo unusable and looks more like a plastic toy then my nintendo scope blaster. Ant! We need to join forces and repel this foul machinery with REAL weapons *Dual wields mp5's*
