I just wanted to throw this invite out there for anyone who does or doesn't play freon to come join us on Infamous sometime. :) A group of us have been playing around 10 or so CST the past few nights and the server has been getting some traffic again. Fun times and we'd love to have anyone join us!

I'll try to remember to drop in. Actually, I'll likely drop in every time a map with the word "tank" in the title gets played on SV.

i was there 1 night!!! lol i try and look out for you, but i think i miss it sometimes. I was trying to get away from playing tam and freon a bit, then you decided to come back :p

I did take a nice break from freon but it's kinda fun again so I started playing a little bit. I'm sure I'll see you and one of your many aliases again. ;)

I'm afraid I'm going to have to stick up my hand and ask: What exactly is TAM?
Looking to get back into UT2k4, and judging by Terra's comments it's quite playable on high pings :ssmile:

TAM is a custom gametype that's very similar to Quake's Freeze Tag.
The match is divided into rounds and teams. Whenever someone gets killed, they're frozen until a member thaws them (by standing next to them) or they may get thawed just by staying dead long enough.
A team earns a point whenever all of their opponents are frozen, and the round resets.
If you don't have this gametype in your UT installation, then you wont be able to see it through the master server. You can either find the server by downloading the gametype off the web, or connecting to it by ip address. It's 216.86.152.24:4444
