Game: Descent: Freespace - The Great War

Destroyed ship: The SD (Shivan Destroyer) Lucifer; SD Lucifer

If you ever played Freespace its an ancient game, almost impossible to find now adays especially since volition have given up on it *After not making Freespace 3 when they said they were going to! :scry: *

For those of you who dont know Freespace then that ship the Lucifer was on its way to destroy earth, it had destroyed the alien race Vasudans who are the allies *except the Hammer of Light, a renegade bunch of pilots who do not agree to the alliance* That Lucifer destroyed their homeworld, and was on the way to destroy earth too.

We couldnt find any way to destroy that ship, until we found ancient relics describing a weakness, The Lucifer is protected by a huge shield impervious to any laser/missile attacks making it invulnerable, but shields cannot work in subspace, and that was where we made our final attack.

Soo, you guys owe me, i had to save earth once again ;) hahaa

Although Freespace 2 brings a greater challenge, the SJ Sathanas ;) you can look it up on YouTube ;)

I remember playing this back in the day. Singleplayer for both Freespace was down right fun. Just to bad the multiplayer part of it lagged like shit. But the Freespace series was short lived with me.

I was more into the Descent series at time.
