Epic has been really doing some bold and impressive decisions over the past couple of months. I'm looking forward to this, although I think they have a big task ahead of them trying to get a UT that works for both UT99 players and UT2004 players.

It's open to community development which is cool but unfortunately development is closed to all but people who have bought an engine license. Too bad, as I would love to make some classes for them, but I'm not going to pay them to do it. Hopefully there is enough interest out there in the licensed community to lend them a hand, as they admit to their team being 'small'. I might help em out on the testing however (testing is open to public). Being a modder myself i'm familiar their systems and s/b able to flush out quite a few. Once just needs to register on the forum and that was a snap. The opportunity for QA and feedback from the public community during development is pretty awesome.
