All right! Saddle up the lance! Lay on some PPC Cannons, LRMS and heat shields and lets rock!
While Transformers were still slumming on toy store shelves, and bad TV shows...albeit they -were- gracing some pretty cool comics and lately special effects movie extravaganzas...there were worlds in conflict, protected and fought over by legions of MECHWARRIORS!!!!
Can't tell I'm a little excited about this, can ya? :compress: :bounce: :compress:

Karma...a term that comprises the entire cycle of cause & effect... Kat...a supercilious quadrupedal pile of fur that doesn´t give a flying fig for Karma...
I remember playing Mechwarrior 2 quite a bit back in the day (alas, never played the board/RPG game). My biggest complaint with that game is that pretty much the best strategy was to load up on weapons and just shoot out the legs of the enemy mechs. After awhile I really started to wish there were some more spider/crab mechs, treaded mechs, or constantly hovering mechs (not just jump-jet enabled) just to mix things up.
I hope they can get a better balance of combat in this new game. Kind of sad when you can just run around these 100 ton mechs and shoot out their legs and continue skipping through the mission with no worries.
Oh yeah!!!! I was one who played the board game with figurines and all. A couple of friends and I were into this big time I had all the manuals and spent many hours killing each other. I like wail hope this is more like the original board game and not Mech W2. The graphics look awesome though.
No shame, no dishonor, will run away to fight another day!
