If some one had just stolen his stuff I would probably have let his attitude slide we all get annoyed in game some times.

But this was just him shouting abuse at people because they were in the secret room ! Its not like there wasnt enough people already out side fragging everything in sight.

And regardless of what others were doing I dont see why I should have to listen to him swearing at me just because he doesnt like how others are playing, its a public server dude if you dont like it go find some where else to play.

(Im pretty sure brainpan was in game at the time all this happened he was definetly in MM vent)

That's EXACTLY how Kabuki is. Unless he's already read this schtuff in the forum, perhaps someone (anyone!) could bring him into Vent and just have a talk with him. I, for one, would sure like to see what's wrong and if there's anything that can be done.

I agree that this is a public server and swearing and such without good enough reason is unacceptable, but Kabuki is a nice fella. I'm sure he'd be more than willing to listen to us and talk it over. Just as Hornet said, I've never seen/heard of this behavior out of him before either.

Here's hoping for a civil and speedy resolution!

None the less kaeolian's perspective is valid. especially if we want to attract new people into the server, we don't need abusive behaviour from other players to scare them away. but anyways maybe someone should talk to kabuki next time this happens.

Yes, I was there and understand kaeolian's point. Kabuki is usually fine, but he goes a little overboard on occasion. By Kabuki's own admission, he goes overboard sometimes. I think he forgets that some of the players are little kids and are going to do stupid things and hide. Sometimes he delivers constructive criticism, sometimes harsh constructive criticism, but sometimes he just blasts them. I'm not sure what you said to him kaeolian, but unless you ripped him a new one his response to you was certainly neither constructive nor appropriate.
I think Kabuki is a decent guy who just lets his expression of his frustration with some players get out of hand on occasion. I think if someone talks with him he'll rein it in.

I've registered specifically to complain about Kabuki. This guy's a real dick to just about everyone repeatedly. The last straw was threatening me (and possibly "nuking" the map...is he an admin? can he do that?) when he thinks I did something to piss him off, but really the reality was different (story below).

We're in 3 Triangles, hiding in a corner from those new Infernals, and I am throwing grenades. Some stick to his face, and he demands I blow them because they're blocking his vision. Well, I do, but only after a few seconds, since I had changed weapons and was trying to change back, and also I wasn't sure who was talking (I tend to ignore the voice chat, since people talk a lot). I guess it was too long of a time, because he says over teamspeak: "Want me to nuke us both? I think I will anyway." So everyone left instantly dies, Invasion continues. Is this the sort of behavior you want running your server?

I don't know you but I do kind of know Kabuki (and no, he is no admin) - I im replying here and I think that concerns to the Administration of the MonsterMAsh Server to take care of their players and every isue big or small wich might arise .

Personally im an admistrator for our Spam Vikings ONS server and Kabuki has been playing there for a long time also, had a bit of trouble with him , booted him a couple of times , Thus I understand your anger and frustration .. The DW servers certainly have rules and from that adminstrative descitions are made regarding the gameplay and players , part of it include of course Personal behavoir and many players had found the way out of our servers for this reazon (aka been constantly harsh to others)... You can be sure that there will most of the times be someone around to take care of this situations and that isues like this get resolved .

Keep enjoying the game , Just letting your know that we care for everyone who comes to play in our Severs !

Ahh kabuki's a cool guy, teaches by the method of tough love! Server just seems to have had an influx of people hellbent on putting grenades on players faces. cough nutcracker cough. I'm sure you'll get to know him in time :cheers:
