Mx518. Good price, enough buttons without being crowded.

Here is Eric the trackball user and jesus, having a conversation.

I use a MX518. I am thinking about going to the G5 with my new computer, but we'll see.
I did try out the razors, but I also did not like the feel for the same reasons that Karma listed.
The main reason I got the MX518 over the G5 at the time was price - it was $20 cheaper for the mx518 - but now I am not sure the difference.
My main complaint with logitech is the drivers - they always have something weird going on with them.

Love my MX518.
I would only switch if I could have something with more buttons on it, and even then.....

Logitech G5 and don't have a problem with drivers just set and go! New G5 has an extra thumb button, wish I would have held out for it but love the ability to change the weight off the mouse considering I have large ands and move the mouse around real quick, the weights allow me to slow it down and get a little better accurecy. Sometimes....when I remeber to change the weights before I TAM.

MX518 and i uninstalled the setpoint crap after having wierd quirks regarding acceleration being on/off. Love the mouse, though wish it had a fatter arse for my huge hands lol

G7 with no drivers.... I have large hands and the battery makes it a little larger and comfier for my purposes than most gaming mice. Battery life is short, but changing it takes like 2.7 seconds :compress:
