Oooh. I normally ping around 30 to Chicago, not that I do poorly with Dallas servers.

- There goes my 24ms ping ... and the best server I've ever played on ! -

I get a non enjoyable 95ms + to chicago.

Don't pay that much attention to your pings right now. Our main server will have more peers and will detect non-optimal routes and automagically re-route you around trouble spots.

I'm hoping that your pings will be a little better to the main server.

Also, consider a subscription to Game Rail. We are peered for them in Chicago.

My ping is ranging from 85 to 130 now. With dallas it was usually around 80.
Now that I see a lot of you had 20-35ms pings that would explain a lot of my frustration with getting wasted more easily than I should. If I understand correctly the ping makes a BIG difference between players with very low vs players with high ping rates. I know it hurts my sniping because when I fire a shot there is just a slight delay between clicking the mouse and the shot causing a miss.

i haven't played in a while and recently saw that the server has moved or whatever and i need to go to a different ip address or something like that. so...how do i do that?

Im sure someone will have a faster way, but I just look at the server list and find Spam Vikings Chicago Server.

Easy way (well the way I do it) is just write down the IP addy on a piece of paper go into ut server favourites menu right click and go to add IP then just put in the IP addy and it will be there for evers :cheers:
