Well just to update
Same thing happened last night it was about 5:15 am so maybe there is a pattern with it.
Map was crossfire ECE I think. All players pings registered to me where well above 100 and play ground to hault. Someone commented on shooting themseleves with there own flack I think.

A very decent speed hack will also lag the server out tremendously. But I havent seen one of those in a long time. and yeah I always kill myself with my own FLAK BALLS .. They are just to big hahahahaha LMAO

himmm
seeing a pattern again bad lag super high pings for all players last night 5:30 EST. I think the map was Dawn or Red planet but im forgetting already. It only lasted maybe 5 minutes most. Im thinking its my isp or the server some kinda badnwidth issue at that time of morning.

Hehe, one time I was running along, probably about to shut down some unlucky manta whore. So I fired my avril and kept running. About a second later, the rocket hit me in the back of the head. And I died. lol And my ping is about 120-130. Despite this I almost always get good fps. Am I causing problems for other peeps? Also, is Anti-TCC the thing that checks your CD key to make sure you're the only one using it?

Hey Curly
as far as if your causing lag Id say no.
Unless your using a "secondary program" as Id call it to "enahnce" your game play.
My own test have shown on my own server here at the house that a few " cheaters" can cause a large amount of lag on a server. I think its due to unneccessary packets being set to the server that otherwise wouldn't be there.
Anti TCC as far as I know just checks for known aim bot programs just like an anit virus would normally. there usually is a tag in you .ini file that an aim bot type program puts in there.
Check the UTAN web site for more details. Scan it good. alotta old cains lair people have been banned there :bigsmurf:
