Hi Apo, it's nice that the map has finally been finished. I've just checked the map myself, and think it's by far way better than all crap on the server

It would be appreciated if you would put it all in 1 map, because it's easier to check the map, and people won't have to be downloading 18MB worth of textures, if u know what I'm talking about :ssleepy:

Looking forward to playing the map on invasion.

Great to hear you've finished, Apo!

As for the questions....

Any time you have custom content in a map it is beneficial for everyone if you would My Level those packages. Not only will it help keep downloads efficient, it also has the side benefit of making sure that anyone who either downloads your map or uncaches it will always have all the necessary files to run the map.

Depending on how large your file is, you can email me at: karmakat@spamvikings.org If it's bigger than 25MB you'll need to host it on one of the free file sharing sites like Filefront and then send me a link so I can download it. Please be sure to zip or rar it first in either case! :) We'll put it on our MM test server and play test it, then provide you with feedback here in the forums. I'd also urge you and anyone else who is currently mapping, to join our Ventrilo voice server. Nothing like instant feedback when we're testing a map!

I'll be watching my email in box!

KKat

Can't stress this statement enough times. All mappers are missing out when they don't catch the first impressions of other players. It's the up-most exciting moment to hear live feedback. Seeing your map play live on the MM servers is just the icing to this tasty treat.

I, as well as many others, will encourage all mappers to join vent.

Hello, Apo!

I received your emails, but for a number of reasons, I will not put P2P software on my machine, which is what Pando is. When I tried to email you back, I kept getting "not a valid email address" errors. Would it be possible for you to host the file on a site like 4shared.com or Filefront.com?

KKat

The "Apotex" and "EHRedeemer" files are missing from that upload, map won't load without 'em.

This is a prime example in why we should "mylevel" these files. Be sure to convert all of your textures from 'Apotex' into mylevel...the same goes with 'EHRedeemer'.

Once you've done so, your map should not be dependent on multiple files. Let us know if you need help in converting these files to mylevel.
