Try a tracert to 66.17.252.18

and also 66.17.245.154.

Both of these for me go through that same IP address. If you can get to those IPs and not 66.17.252.2, maybe it is the server????

I will try a trace to your other IP when I get to work tomorrow. I have talked to Logix Communications and Yipes Communications and they both think the problem is with the company that owns 66.7.164.90 (Safe Mail). As for the BGP tables I was told it is highly unlike they are corrupt. These tables are the backbone of the internet and one of these being corrupt would be about like a router or switch at your ISP going down.

I'm not a network person but it appears to me that the problem is between 66.7.164.90 and the next hop which is your server. Seeing how I can't ping your IP I would think that once I hit 66.7.164.90 they are blocking our packets from going any further.

Anyway, the guy from Yipes said he is going to call the guy that manages the servers for the company Safe Mail. I'm sure he is doing more than he has to and probably will never read this forum but I would like to thank him for all the help he has provided.

I emailed you my IP address. If you get a chance why don't run a trace to it just to see if you can ping it.

I also talked to the guy at Yipes, he said the company sold that particular block to a company called Send Mail, not safe mail(?). He also mentioned that a company named Lionfield Technology Solutions might own that IP. I sent Toxic an email with the contact numbers for both.

VoteforPedro was another person having a problem reaching the server. I saw him on tonight. Are you guys still having problems?

I can reach 66.17.245.154. Here are hops 3 to 10. No problems with this one. This is the three point server and I get a ping of 32 when playing the game. It is nice when you are almost sitting on top of the server.

Whatever the problem was I am now able to connect to your server 66.17.252.2. Thanks to everyone that has put time into resolving this issue.

I was able to get on yesterday. Today I haven't tried but my tracert looks really good, even better latencies than before I had the problem... maybe whoever it was had a bad server and pulled it.

I then powerr cycled my router and that worked or they did something before i checked.
