I like the burn wep, but i hav a slightly different idea for it.
This wep would replace Poison and is a "weapon" of Flame :angryfire: , the way it would work is to have a small but visible flame effect on the monsters you shoot with it and to drain small amount of Health from the monster while under the Flame effect which is almost exactly the same as Poison but with an effect you can actually see so you know its working, since poison is a boring wep, very difficult to see its effects and not much fun to use why not replace it with Flame? :violent3:

I do remember seeing a flamethower weapon awhile ago. But I think it was eating too many frame rates so it had to get pulled :(

only problem i can for see with a flame weapon is to give the effect of a monster or person being on fire, some sort of fire emitter or other fire effect must be attached to every monster/player who gets effected by the weapon. now it may be fine if you only have 1-2 people using the weapon, but if you have a few guys in the server using a flame weapon you could easily have 20-30 monsters on fire at one time, all those fire emitters or effects could impact performance, i cant say with certainty that it would be horrible, but i can only speculate that it would impact the performance.
but with that said, it would be cool to light some monsters on fire lol

I can easily see one guy with a minigun setting half the monsters on the server on fire...
Anyway, we might eventually see something like this. I have some things I'd like to do to Poison which might make it better, though, so we'll see.

Maybe the monsters could turn green from sickness to indicate the poison affect. Perhaps it could be textured/skinned just like the freezing, knockback, and petrification effects.

Oooo, I just thought of one.
How about a weapon of shrinkage! When you shoot a monster with it, they become really small, maybe half the original size.

Will they do half damage, half speed, half whatever because they are twice as hard to hit? :P
