Having Problems Loging in / Changing URL's and links .

Yesterday March 22 we changed the way the main site interacts with the forums . This is causing some issues for some , none for others .
If you cannot login or your logging in on the front page but it won't let you log into the forums do 2 two things .
First clear your browsers cache .
Then instead of logging in on the home page go directly to the forums and log in there or here as the case may be .
Also
All the forum URL are being rewritten and made a bit shorter . This is going to screw up all the posts that have links pointing to other posts. I apologize for the inconvenience . If you find a link thats not working just PM me and I'll fix it .

I do not plan on changing it again . Although I didn't really see this change coming till recently . :rr:

hmm... since the forum changed to /p8pbbridge I have had a big ugly color gallery covering half my textbox... OMGWTFBBQ!

Hmm . I noticed that changed . Not sure why as of yet . If you are talking about the color pallet ?
Is it just your resolutions . How small of a screen you on ?
Screen shot maybe ?

yes, the color pallet takes up half the screen. AFAIK my res is 1064x768 native to my monitor but stupid vista I cant find an easy way to change it ^^
I will take a shot 2nite, g2g to school soon.

You mean you can't right click your desktop and go to "personalize", then "Display Settings"?

A minor, separate bug since the update which I just noticed: clicking on the name of a profile (such as the ones after 'Moderators' above) gives a typo in the URL, i.e.:
http://clandw.org/p8pbbridge/members/=778.html
instead of
http://clandw.org/p8pbbridge/members/778.html
The 'Profile' button is fine though. Otherwise I've had no problems at all.

Only appears to be a problem with FireFox. Working on a Fix.

I'm not sure what your talking aobut , name of the profile ?
Made a change try it again see what you get.

Problem fixed itself shortly after I posted, issues were with usernames, i.e. clicking any of these took me to an invalid page:
Moderators: DW_Bomzin, DW_Wraith, DW_Cheapshot
Seems like the links in my post changed too... :drunken:
