A few other DW members and I were discussing all-time favorite games and classic games and those games that made the biggest impression on us, technology, and the future of gaming. Many couldn't narrow it down to just one game so we will discuss our top five games of all time! I'll go first starting with my least favorite of the five to my absolute favorite... This should be fun and try to include videos, pictures, and/or just a description and a reason why it is your favorite. Thanks and here we go:

Let me think... Hmmm... Okay I'm going to have to go with 7 games because I just can't leave any out in the dark so my least favorite of seven all time classics is...

Super Pitfall on Tandy because it is one of the first games I played the shit out of:
Image Image At number six is... Wizards and Warrior... Actually this was one of the most annoying games I ever played but I just couldn't sit the controller down... What was I to do, play sports? ...Yeah right!

Number five would be Altered Beast in the arcade and on Sega Genesis! Well because at the time of its release it was considered to have AWESOME GRAPHICS DUDE! LOL! I know...
Image Number 4 is Ghost and Goblins on the Commodore 64. I loved the Commodore 64 and still do. Ghost and Goblins was just loads of fun in my opinion.
Image Image Are you ready for the top 3? NUMBER 3 is... Zelda: Link to the Past on Super Nintendo! I think it is obvious why I like this game, it was awesome! This was a hard decision because the Super NES had a lot of great games really but this one I played for hours and I loved it so much that I just may decide to go out and get a Wii just to play Four Swords!
Image Number 2 is DOOM 2 just all out shoot 'em up bloody monsters and zombies in 3d action! This one provided days of fun and gore!

And number one all time favorite best games in the world, or maybe I should say series of games but I must give credit to what started it all... UT99!!!!

Out of all the games I mention, UT99 is the only one I still play to this day. Object oriented and was going to original be a bot pack, I'm sure glad they decided to make it a whole new game or we may never had UT2k4 or UT3... Scary, I know! Well, there it is... Your turn!

Only in UT!

Oh and at Number 4 and a half is the first game I ever played, Tandy CoCo's Dungeons Of Daggorath! I could never forget it, I was trying so hard to remember the name of it the other day and it just popped into my head... Here it is, an awesome game and one of the first 3d games ever!
Image Image So, for me the top five are as follows:

1= UT99 - PC

2= DOOM 2 - PC

3= Zelda: Link to the Past - SNES

4= Ghost and Goblins - Commodore 64

5= Dungeons of Daggorath - Tandy

EDIT: Why do I have a feeling this thread is going to make me feel old?

Oh, and if any of you youngens wanna give the three classic games of my top five games a try or if you want to go down memory lane, I have all these games for you to try. They're small and quick to download and still fun even today!

Sega Genesis SplatterHouse 2 will definately go down as one of my all time favorites also:

I'm sure if I could afford a NeoGeo back then, NeogGeo games would fill almost all my top five but I was poor so... O' well! Hey, what would you guys think about a splatterhouse character for 2k4?

Awesome picks, I love Duke Nukem! Okay, now which ones are your top five? Must pick a single game for each, not a series and you must tell which platform. Top five?

This was one a my favorite childhood games and I must appreciate all the work they did to make some of the first vector based 3D games, it was tough! Check it out and if you would like to play it, i have it for XP and Vista!

Dungeons Of Daggorath for the Tandy! (3D in 1982!)

I remember my brother and I would stay up late and even all night as children playing this game until the sun come up and we would then go fishing or pass the football. Som of my earliest memories... Awesome!

Sweaters and I had countless hours into Twisted Metal 2 for Playstation. The one is labeled TM 2 1/2, but it was just 2.

First shooter game I ever played was Wolfenstein 3D.

Took a while to find this one but savage did some digging and came up with it. I use to play it on my neighbors mac.

Wolf 3D was great and who could forget Twisted Metal, that game was awesome fun and it reminds me of one of the other classics I had so much fun with, definitely in my top ten and maybe even top five:

Spy Hunter on C64 and it was in the arcade and even the NES!

Metroid on NES, awesome! Maybe I should have made it top TEN!
