DM-Crossfire-Extended - some problems

Oh that looks reasonable, just like Dog Town size. I'm just trying to avoid massive maps. My computer doesn't like them ;)

Hello friends :ssmile: ,

i´m right now building DM-Crossfire-X and have a problem, i hope someone can help me.

The size of new crossfire is (X=7500 Y=7500 Z=2000).

I saw the map called DM-Unrealville and i just wanted to make this effect (look at picture). How can i make this effect in my map?
Image In addtion i will make some skyscraper and i would like to paint all the player´s names on a poster, that will be in a skyscraper.

If there are more then 50 names i gonna add another poster in next skyscraper.

That effect is only handy when you're outdoors (when the skybox is displayed).
Zone info properties:
make sure bCleartoFogColor is false (I think this is default)
Then have the max distance fog < to the viewing distance from one side to the other.

Then it should display the HOM, but if the surfaces are fake backdrops, it should show the skybox instead.

I have got some great idea :devil: .

The map looks a bit boring :sbigsmile: , but the map will not be easy, muhahahaha found some evil trials.
The players must beat trials to have a chance for survive.
There will be 5 trials :devil: and the best is u cant cheat trials with any artifact (specially Globe of Invulnerability or Boots of Flight) like DM-Elimination-Chamber. But it will take more time to make this trials :sgiggle: .

Ok, trials are ready :devil: .

I test trials for artifacts cheating (example: Globe and Flight). No chance

I have only made 3 Trial, because map would be much bigger and file size is almost by 47,6 MB.

I hope to get map ready this week. I check some points to get a hard and tough map

How can i make a Networkemitter?
For example i wanna let fall bombs over whole map. Rocket with steam, how can i put them together? Meshemitter and Spriteemitter?

Network emitters are good for toggling visibility or toggling any internal properties inside the emitter(s) (Custom actors needed for this).

To keep emitters attached to eachother, I would just create a mover and have the emitter AttachTag property (in the Movement category) equal to the Mover's tag. This is all just visual, right?

just a little hint for ya, dont go setting map sizes up like 7000, 5000, 2000, because the builder works in 16x it can sometimes cause errors, if u were to ever look at any of my MH-99 or DM-2004, maps then you'd see all of my sizes are in the range of 16x table numbers

16,32,64,128,256,512,1024,2048,4096, etc. Also helps alot if ur using static mesh cuz u wont have so many little holes around where you couldnt quite fit the static in or statics sticking out the map and causing holes in your BSP.

I have a new problem, can someone help :ssad:

I make my Network emitters and i put them in a group.

How can i start work that group of networkemitters in map and how can i use them in every wave?
