Hey guys.

After a long lay off from UT2K4 (work, family life, the dog all getting in the way!)I managed to get a little bit of me time and decided to return to my old friend and blast some monsters. little did I know I would be thwarted by Bill Gates and his wonderful software!

When i double click the UT icon, I get a message that looks something like this:

Runtime error!

Program C:\UT2004\System\UT2004.exe

abnormal program termination

Que?

If anyone can help me sort this I would be most grateful. I know that a lot of you out there are genius' when it comes to computers so I'm hoping you can give me an easy fix.

Hugs and kisses

Those crashes typically happen if you have a missing/corrupted system or resource file. To find out if you're missing a file, go to your C:/UT2004/system directory. There will be a file called UT2004.log (Windows only). It'll tell you what file(s) you're missing. It'll usually be the first critical line.
The difference between successful people from others is
not in the lack of strength,
not in the lack of knowledge,
but rather in the lack of will.
