There were 4 people on the server last night playing the INV arena map. I had joined mid wave 16, so i was out, there were 2 active players(jmfx3000 & Shamgraine) battling luci & another 3rd player that had been killed and was out. The player that was out started the map voting process & with no one else voting changed the map - totally screwing the 2 players throwing the beat down on luci.

Is there any way this can be avoided in the future?

probably not without raising the % required to init map voting.

but in that vein, 'd have to say that this was an anomalie because i've been in game with 5 people and it took 3 to init voting (> 50%). not saying that your bit never happened, but it may very well have been "just one of those things" that one time.
