The End of an Era

Hi everyone, The Dallas server is officially closed and we have migrated to Chicago. The new IP address is 208.100.35.14.

Ultimately, Chicago is where we will be hosting all of our servers. But if UT3 hits sooner than later, we may host the demo on the Dallas server until the Chicago server is ready.

Thanks for all of your support, and we hope to see you in Chicago!

I always preferred the Dallas server, but whatever. Not much of a difference that I've noticed.

Meh, I live in Tennesee. Dallas and Chicago are equidistant.

I have noticed less lag in Chicago, even though I'm in northern CA. My ping was always a bit higher than usual, but a lot less lag issues.

That reminds me... one time I played on Xbox360 Live. The average ping? About 300. *shivers* the consoles are so far behind us computer gamers it's scary sometimes...

I'm glad you guys got it up and running. I hope it works out better for you guys with it up there. But I'm only happy for you; not for me. It makes me sad. The server ping went from ~25-30 to over 150. :'(((
