I reloaded COD4 and thought I got it all up-to-date but for some reason when I go into join a server... there aren't any. I updated punkbuster and the game so I think I'm missing something. Any ideas? What version is it suppose to be on now??

For COD4 I'm pretty sure its version 1.7. Now if you don't see any server it may be a firewall problem. Be sure to check that out for your OS.
