how do you edit the desp fallencity van1 like the texture how do you edit it?

I think it goes as follows. To export it you have to look it up in the Materials properties in the Mesh browser, then right-click on the texture in the texture browser and choose Export to File. Once you've edited it then you'll have to duplicate the mesh into your own package and change the Materials property to point to your modified texture.

Btw you really should ask all your questions in one topic... you don't want the admins on you :P

Export the texture used on the static mesh.
Open it up with Photoshop and edit it.
When you're done, reimport the texture into UnrealEd (preferably to MyLevel).
Go to the static mesh inside your level and adjust its Skins property to add a new item, use the new texture as the "skin."

well like i have a texture but can't export and open in gimp
its in .dds not like .bmp

I can't open my own textures in the editor. Are there like new patches or just patches because I import a .gmp file and save to myLevel it just shows nothing.

You gotta make sure your images' resolution must be in powers of two (ie: 128X256, 32X64, 16X16, 512X256, 1024X256, 2048X64)
